Joy to the World
It’s a wonderful life. It’s that time of year again. It’s the time of year to celebrate with family and friends, and look back on the year that is nearing completion. As I think about 2012 for me and Harper PR, I can’t help but smile. When I was writing my holiday greeting this time last year, I wasn’t sure I’d be gifted another year getting to live this crazy dream. But, here I am. I MADE IT! And I am incredibly thankful.
I’m thankful to the many people and organizations who have welcomed me to their team, and given Harper PR a chance in its early stages. I’m thankful to my friends and family for supporting me – the road isn’t an easy one, there are many stresses involved, and my loved ones truly came through as my biggest cheerleaders and supporters. There is no greater gift than that. I’m thankful for the ups and the downs. I’m not perfect, I make mistakes, and much to my own disappointment…I’m not always right. But, I’m always keen to try and learn, and running my own business has been a wonderful learning experience.
If you know me well, you’ll know I’m pretty tenacious. I usually go after something that I set my mind to. And, for 2013, I’ve set my mind to growth. I’d love to continue to see Harper PR grow. I’m excited to take on new projects, and build a small team that can help me do so. I’m already on the right track.
Harper PR welcomed its first official practicum student in late 2012, and I’m so proud to have Margaret Zygadlo on the team until April 2013. Margaret is lending her ideas and skills to a few projects, and she brings such a great energy to the team. I can wait for you to meet her.
I’m grateful for your support this year, and look forward to another amazing year ahead.
Cheers to a wonderful holiday season, and all the best in 2013!
